4+ years experience as a designer. Experience in client communication, project management, and leading other designers.
Proven ability to strategize brand concepts, including positioning and messaging, to create cohesive and impactful brand identities.
A portfolio demonstrating work in Brand & Identity Design, Layouts & Composition, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field of study. (academic qualifications are secondary, we judge applications solely on the basis of design portfolios).
Working knowledge of design tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and Indesign.
Guiding the entire design process and client journey to ensure appealing visual output as per the brand’s vision, while keeping the target consumers at front and centre.
Immersing into the process of developing brands and visual designs through research, conceptualisation, iterations and explorations.
Handling brand and creative strategy, research & insights and overall ideation and conceptualisation for any creative requirements for brands across different mediums, unlimited by skillset.
Striking the right balance between NOCT’s interests, the client’s expectations, the design team and consumer experience, with a methodical and meticulous mindset.
Working closely with stakeholders to coordinate and ensure timelines with smooth implementation of designs and timely completion of deliverables.
Communicating with the client to understand their expectations and brief, holding workshops or sessions with them, and keeping them in the loop throughout the design journey.
Providing feedback to the team as required to ensure they meet deadlines and stay on track.
Quality checks and approvals to ensure high quality output and pixel perfect designs.
Carrying out consumer testing, and accordingly ensuring design rework and drawing smart insights when required.

If you’re through the first round, we’ll set up a video interview with you. You will be required to share your screen and walk us through some of your work.
In case we feel that we need a better understanding of your design skills after the interview, we’ll ask you to complete a short design exercise.
